Old Man Ride - July 2012
We have celebrated each new decade of life with an "epic ride".  When we turned 30, we did a two-day "Pan Mass" ride from the New York border to Boston.  When we turned 40, we rode "Up Rhode Island", from Long Island Sound back to suburban Boston.

In honor of turning 50, we planned something truly epic -- 3 days and 300 miles through all six New England states.  Each day's ride ended at a local brewpub (the beer mugs) on the map.

The route included east-west crossings of New Hampshire and Rhode Island, plus a north-south crossing of Massachusetts, including a ride through the Southwick Jog, the quirky bump on the Mass / CT border.

Eight hot and sweaty guys arrived at the finish line, tired but satisfied with our effort!

Ride maps for the curious and/or adventurous:

Day 1 (Franklin, MA to Windsor, CT)
Day 2 (Windsor, CT to Keene, NH)
Day 3 (Keene, NH to Eliot, ME)
