In 2010, Mike and his 14 year old son Ian embarked on a six-day 500 mile tandem tour, taking them through New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island, supported only by the gear they carried. It was a great bonding experience -- there is nothing like being alone in the middle of nowhere with no one else to talk to but your riding partner, and knowing that only your joint effort will get you to your destination.
